The Brief:
The laying of utility ducts, interceptor tanks, sewer connections and section 278 surfacing works.
The Challenges:
Safely working adjacent to Nationally Critical Pipeline. Coordination with other groundworks and steel works contractors.
The Solution:
Deep tunneling underneath airport fuel pipeline with specialist contractors and temporary works. Collaborative working with client to establish safe phasing of works.
Just in time materials supply to minimise laydown areas.
Outputs & Benefits:
Delivery on time for client handover of premises. Continuation of work into other project at ICON.
